This Focus Tour is intended as an exchange for art mediators to reflect on working conditions during and after the corona crisis. The forced cancellation of activities with audiences has had drastic consequences on working life, opened up spaces for discussion, and addressed deficits in cooperations with institutions. Even though many exhibitions have reopened, art education remains severely restricted. Based on the experience of the Berlin Biennale’s mediation work, we will come together and ask how best to proceed.
Mediator: Barbara Campaner is an art historian, art mediator, and part of the 11th Berlin Biennale mediation team.
Focus Tours are free of charge. Participants will reflect on topics together and view a thematic selection of artworks presented in the venues. Thus, this tour is also suitable for visitors who have already seen the exhibition.
